KARE Legacy Law
My career began in criminal defense and construction defect litigation. Demanding work that sharpened my legal instincts but slowly distanced me from why I chose this profession. The systems were impersonal. Families felt like case numbers.
Then I became a wife and mother, and everything shifted. I started asking the questions so many families carry quietly: What happens to my family if something happens to me? Will everything I've built truly protect them? Who will remind my children how much I loved them?
I did what any attorney would do, I went looking for answers and found dense legal language, transactional advice, and a process that felt more like paperwork than protection. If it felt cold and intimidating to me, as an attorney, what must it feel like for everyone else?
That gap is why KARE Legacy exists.
Estate planning isn't really for you. It's for the people you love most, the ones who will need clarity, guidance, and a soft place to land during the hardest moments of their lives. When my grandmother passed, she left behind something more meaningful than any account balance: videos of us cooking together. That is what legacy actually is. And that is the lens we bring to every plan we build protecting wealth, yes, but also love, meaning, and connection.
Born in Miami, raised in Colombia I carry both worlds into every client conversation. I know what it means to build a life you're proud of, and to want to protect it not just financially, but meaningfully.
KARE Legacy is the firm I went looking for and couldn't find. A trusted team that genuinely cares. A plan that actually works. Guidance built for families who want more than documents, who want a legacy their loved ones will feel for generations.
That's why we built KARE. And it's why we'd be honored to help you preserve your legacy.

My journey into legacy planning didn't begin with ambition. It began with honesty, a reckoning with my own mortality at 44.
When health concerns forced me to slow down and get real, the question changed. It stopped being "will this career take me to the top?" and became "will I be present for the moments that actually matter?" That shift changed everything. I didn't want to be successful on paper while being absent from my own life. I wanted to be there, for the small, irreplaceable moments, not just provide from a distanc
That's what led me to Legacy Planning. And the truth is, the seed was planted long before.
At 26, while traveling abroad and taking risks that would make most people nervous, I created my first Will and Testament, and even recorded a message to be played at my service, because I wanted my loved ones to celebrate my life, not mourn it. That spark never fully went out. Life, timing, and technology kept it at bay, but it was always there.
Today, with the right tools, the right purpose, and the incredible opportunity to build this alongside my wife, that flame has become something real. KARE Legacy isn't just a business, it's a shared mission rooted in who we are and what we believe in.
As a life enthusiast and I help families, business owners, and individuals take control of their legacy not leave it to chance. We're not just preparing documents. We're helping parents sleep better. We're giving business owners peace of mind. We're helping people be remembered exactly as they want to be.
"The End" is a chapter we all have in our story. How we prepare for it and how our story continues after is the empowering gift we're devoted to share.
